Education and Training
Jacky has a Masters Degree from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, where he gained much experience from clinical rotations at the Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Jacky is very knowledgeable about the practical application of TCM. During his clinical training in the hospital, he touched upon various branches of TCM, such as massage, acupuncture and of course, Chinese herbs. Outside of school, he learnt much of the theory behind Traditional Chinese medicine from his uncle who was a TCM practitioner as well.
Credentials and Experience
With over 20 years of clinical experience, being an R.Ac (Registered Acupuncturist) and an R.TCMP (Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner), it is safe to say that Jacky knows what he is doing.
In addition, growing up with an uncle who practiced Chinese medicine has helped him cultivate his passion for this profession. With his interest in this field stemming early on in his childhood and his extensive knowledge of TCM, Jacky is dedicated to finding alternative and effective ways for helping patients out.
Interests and Specialties
When he came to Canada, Jacky found that Western medicine explains health-related issues such as pain syndromes very differently than in TCM.
In contrast to Western medicine which takes a general approaches to treating certain conditions, what he loves about TCM is the uniqueness of the potential solutions it has to offer a patient. In TCM, whatever one’s condition is, the treatment will be specifically tailored to the individual and their case.
As for his specialties, Jacky practices Tui Na, which is a type of Chinese massage, and is well educated and experienced in the use of Chinese herbs.
Why us? We provide high-quality TCM and acupuncture services while always prioritizing the client’s comfort.
